Littleton | Historic Charm

Littleton is famous for its historic downtown, vibrant arts and craft beer scene, and outdoor recreation opportunities at places like Hudson Gardens and Chatfield State Park. The city was founded by Richard Sullivan Little, an engineer who came to the area during the Pikes Peak gold rush in the 1850's. Downtown Littleton features historic charm with numerous galleries, shops, and restaurants. Each fall, Downtown Littleton hosts Western Welcome Week; a long-running festival celebrating the city's heritage.

 

Littleton is home to many parks and trails, including the extensive trail system at South Platte Park and the nearby Chatfield State Park, which offers boating and other water activities. The city has an extensive network of trails for cyclists, as well.

 

Littleton is located in Arapahoe County and includes the Littleton Public School system, which is highly regarded for quality K-12 education. Arapahoe Community College is also located in Littleton near the vibrant downtown area. Littleton offers older and newer home options. Single family homes are most prevalent; however, condominiums, apartments and townhomes are also available.
