Littleton is famous for its historic downtown, vibrant arts and craft beer scene, and outdoor recreation opportunities at places like Hudson Gardens and Chatfield State Park. The city was founded by Richard Sullivan Little, an engineer who came to the area during the Pikes Peak gold rush in the 1850's.
